Protecting Throttle Quadrant with Vinyl

• Covered the throttle quadrant with permanent vinyl for protection

Details

Since the throttle quadrant will be a frequently touched area, I decided to cover it with permanent vinyl for extra protection of the paint and labels.

I first took the quadrant apart and got the top plate off the unit.

Then I cut a large piece of vinyl, stuck it onto the top plate. I used a heat gun to lightly blow the plate for better adhersion. For all the screw holes and slots, I used a craft knife to cut away to extra meterial.

At last, I re-installed the top plate and put the throttle quadrant back together. It looks shinier than before :)
